For this image I viewed several different filters in the "filter gallery". This allows you to see filters over other filters and you can change the effects of each filter. For this image I used "palette knife" filter and I adjusted the detail and smoothness. I like the effects and I think that the possibilities with filters are endless because there are so many ways to layer them and adjust them.
It does make for a very quaint image! I feel like this filter could be used in designing housewares, such as placemats, mugs, plates, the like. It is a very illustrative style.

ReplyDeleteBeware of filter over-use. The best way to avoid is to ask yourself if what you are doing is enhancing the image to tell the story you want to tell.
At this point it does not matter except that you are doing it and creating more work every day.
